About Hogan Speech Pathology
TESS HOGAN, MA, MFA, MS, CCC-SLP, after a 25-year career as a professional stage actor, has been treating adults with speech, language, voice and swallowing issues for over 15 years in rehab hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and private homes. She is a member of the following groups and associations:
American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA), Actors Equity Association (AEA), SAG/AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), and is a licenced speech-language pathologist in the State of North Carolina.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago (Theatre and Communication), a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama (Acting), a Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles (Theatre Arts), and a Master of Science from Florida State University (Communication Disorders).
Tess Hogan received certification in Vocology from NCVS (National Center for Voice and Speech) at the University of Utah, is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT-LOUD) and the McNeil Dysphagia Training Protocol (MDTP).
